IEA Mil-Optics GmbH from Nagold has been awarded the contract to supply aiming devices for the 40mmx46 system.
IEA MIL-OPTICS GmbH was founded in 2000 and is one of the leading suppliers of night vision technology and special equipment for the German Armed Forces as well as for state and federal authorities.
The scope of supply includes the delivery of fire control units and laser rangefinders. The manufacturer of these systems is Wilcox Industries, Newington, USA. The planned devices will be known as RAAM-GSS and MRF Xe.
The contract provides for the delivery of a total of approx. 460 systems. An option for additional systems is also included.
IEA Mil-Optics is responsible for supplying the equipment to the Bundeswehr and will also take on the planned service tasks for the duration of the service life.
