Revolutionary Hybrid Cases: SwissP Defence AG Introduces Groundbreaking Technology

SwissP Defence AG from Thun is setting new standards with its innovative SWISS P Hybrid Case Technology, abbreviated as HCT.

The hybrid cases by SWISS P offer a unique combination of ballistic performance enhancement and improved logistics with reduced weight for soldiers.

The SWISS P HCT hybrid cases has been specifically designed to increase hit probability and penetration power compared to conventional ammunition in similar calibers.

Head of Research and Development at SwissP Defence AG

The Hybrid Case Technology (HCT) by SWISS P stands for “lighter & more powerful.” Through a two-part case with a stable steel base and a case body made of various materials such as aluminum, brass, or plastic, it enables up to a 50 percent higher projectile velocity and improved hit probability. Additionally, the choice of case material significantly influences its weight. This pioneering technology is particularly relevant for military Special Forces as it reduces logistical challenges and increases operational agility.

Our goal is to enhance the effectiveness and operational readiness of armed forces as well as law enforcement users worldwide by developing cutting-edge ammunition technologies.

The benefits of SWISS P’s HCT ammunition are manifold: increased kinetic energy for better armor penetration, a flatter trajectory for more precise shots over longer distances, and reduced wind effect for improved accuracy in challenging terrains.

The HCT is produced in calibers from 9×19 mm to .375 SWISS P, covering a wide spectrum of semi-automatic to fully automatic weapon systems as well as sniper rifles. As a complete system provider, SwissP Defence closely collaborates with leading weapon manufacturers to shape the future of military ammunition. The introduction of the SWISS P HCT Hybrid case marks a milestone in the development of ammunition technologies and will enhance the effectiveness and operational readiness of armed forces worldwide.
