Armor Express awarded $18M contract by US Army

Armor Express, a leading manufacturer and distributor of lifesaving body-worn ballistic protective solutions for the Domestic and Federal Law Enforcement markets, Department of Defense, and First Responders, announced today that it has been awarded a delivery order from the U.S. Army totaling approximately $18 million.

This is a new fair opportunity delivery order award stemming from the 9-year, $837 million firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract (Number W91CRB-21-D-0004) the Company was initially awarded in December 2020 by the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Grounds (ACC APG) to produce and deliver the Modular Scalable Vest (MSV) System Gen II.

Armor Express looks forward to once again supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force with the lighter, more flexible second-generation MSV system. Our close-knit supply chain partnerships and highly experienced manufacturing and operations teams are ideally suited to quickly scale up to support large projects such as this one while delivering a quality product on time.
