Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F with Manual Safety

Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the release of the Echelon™ 4.5F 9mm Pistol with Manual Safety, adding a new option to this popular line of fully ambidextrous pistols that has set a new standard for modern, striker-fired duty pistols.

The manual safety of the new Echelon variant is frame-mounted at the rear of the frame. In addition to being ambidextrous and easy to engage/disengage, the manual safety on the new Echelon also features matching texturing to the rest of the pistol. The result is an ergonomic design that adds an additional layer of safety to an already extremely safe and durable pistol.

The Echelon pistol is a highly adaptable and capable full-size, duty-grade 9mm pistol. At the heart of the Echelon lies the patent-pending Central Operating Group, an entirely self-contained and serialized stainless steel chassis. The result is a system that is easily moved between available grip modules in seconds. In addition, the Echelon employs the truly innovative Variable Interface System, which employs patent-pending self-locking pins that can be positioned to direct-mount more than 30 of today’s most popular pistol optics.

The Echelon with Manual Safety features the popular U-Dot™ tritium/luminescent sights, with the accuracy performance ensured by the hammer-forged 4.5” barrel. The pistol comes packed with one 17- and one 20-round magazine. In addition, both 15-round and 10-round variants are offered for restricted locales. MSRP of all three versions is $679.
