Control of light is control of information, and the IRIS ARC was engineered around that principle. Rather than functioning as a simple illuminator, the ARC is designed as a tool for shaping the environment’s balancing output, beam angle, and infrared compatibility, allowing shooters to define their working space under night-vision conditions. It is compact, deliberate, and designed to support low-light navigation, target identification, and engagement without overwhelming the user or the surroundings.
The core of the ARC is its adjustable VCSEL-based infrared illuminator, which allows the shooter to transition from a tight, concentrated spot to a broad, even flood using a continuous collar adjustment. The spot mode reaches deep into dark terrain, cutting through environments where ambient light cannot support image intensification. Flood mode, by contrast, provides wide-area illumination ideal for movement, interior work, or supporting teammates. The ability to scale the beam between 0.8° and 40° gives the ARC flexibility that would traditionally require multiple devices.
