Luminox Master SEAL Carbon 3800

In 2017 the 3800 series watches were added to Luminox portfolio. They were designed to outperform their predecessors. For almost a year, the FRAG OUT! Team was using the latest Luminox timepieces almost 24/7. So now it’s time to operate for write up about them!

Luminox Master Carbon SEAL 3800 series watches are part of Sea Collection, and they feature the SEAL Trident engraved on the bottom. As all of the Sea Collection timepieces, these are uber-rugged, water resistant watches with hi-viz illumination with proprietary Luminox Light Technology. But from Master Carbon SEAL 3800 you can expect even more.

A Swiss Rhonda 715 HH6 multi-jewel quartz movement responsible for a precise timekeeping is a heart of latest Luminox watch. It is powered by lithium battery with eight years lifetime. The movement was placed inside the CARBONOX+™ case consisting of 40% Carbon Fiber in bar form. Want to learn more about this composite compound? Check the last page of the article. This amount of carbon changes everything, making the case lighter (even three times lighter than titanium), more durable, exceedingly hypoallergenic, more scratch resistant than most other materials and more chemical and heat resistant. The watch with the rubber strap weights only 80 grams (or about 97 grams with stainless steel bracelet). Master Carbon SEAL 3800 series watches are “true man’s size” – the case has 46 mm diameter (up to 51 mm in the widest place) and it is 14 mm thick. The case back is stainless steel screw-in with engraved information about the watch and huge SEAL Trident or “Budweiser”.
