The FB Radom MSBS GROT Pistol rifle variant, available with three barrel lenghts, has received certification from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which clears it for sale in the U.S. civilian market.
The ATF decision determined the product meets the requirements of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA), making it eligible for import into the USA.

The MSBS GROT rifles (branded in the U.S. as the MSBS GROT PISTOL according to the local regulations) will be available to American buyers through Arms of America, the U.S. distributor of FB. Fabryka Broni consistently pursued this ATF certification as a strategic process, marking another significant step in strengthening the brand’s presence in the American market.
“Obtaining the ATF certification is a critical milestone in building the position of Fabryka Broni and its products in the United States. It’s also the result of the Management Board’s years-long, successfully executed strategy aimed at introducing the MSBS GROT system to the U.S. market. This achievement came through a collaborative effort between our American distributor and a dedicated team of Fabryka Broni specialists who conducted intensive work throughout the certification phases.”
Seweryn Figurski, President of the Board, Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom Sp. z o.o.
Introducing the MSBS GROT Pistol version to the American market allows U.S. buyers to purchase this Polish rifle for the first time. They can choose from three barrel variants—10.5”, 13”, and 14.5”—to match their specific preferences.

The U.S. market shows high demand for modern, modular weapon platforms and for rifle-pistol type firearms, which sport shooters, recreational enthusiasts, and collectors value highly. The MSBS GROT Pistol, with its unique design and three barrel configurations, offers an appealing alternative to the dominant AR-15 platform-based designs in the U.S.
With ATF certification secured, Fabryka Broni immediately began preparations for production dedicated to the U.S. market. The company will announce the model’s availability progressively as production and logistical efforts advance. The final scope of product configurations offered in the U.S. market remains at the distributor’s discretion.
We see significant interest in the GROT in the U.S. at every SHOT Show. Many buyers emphasize that the local market lacks a European platform with this level of modularity and ergonomics. The ability to tailor production for the American market is a crucial step in our expansion and a natural phase in the development of the MSBS system..”
Daniel Wilk, Member of the Board, Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom Sp. z o.o.
Fabryka Broni has observed substantial interest in the MSBS GROT family of designs from U.S. buyers for years. Every year at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, which the FB regularly attends, the most frequently asked question is when the GROT Pistol variant will become available to American users. This recently obtained ATF decision directly addresses that anticipation and paves the way for the brand’s further development outside of Europe.
“ATF certification is more than just an administrative decision. It’s also a confirmation of the quality and maturity of our design, preceded by a detailed analysis. It signals that the developmental path Fabryka Broni has chosen is the right one. Simultaneously, we are pleased that even before the GROT’s sales launch in the American market, we are seeing genuine interest in the model from local trade partners and the shooting community..”
Jakub Czułba, Member of the Board, Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom Sp. z o.o.
The opportunity for the MSBS GROT Pistol to debut across the ocean means it can join other Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom designs already distributed in the U.S. Fabryka Broni’s American distributors introduced the following products to their offerings back in 2021: the .223 Rem Mini Beryl Pistol, the 7.62×39 Beryl S 762 M1 and the .223 Rem Beryl S 223 M1. The 9mm VIS 100 M1 semi-automatic pistol chambered inlso joined the Beryl family in this market.
“This entire process—from adapting production to meeting federal regulations—shows the long and demanding road we have traveled. It wasn’t just formal matters; changing our approach, implementing new quality standards, fully aligning documentation, and passing a series of control procedures opened the door for us to the American market.”
Seweryn Figurski, President of the Board, Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom Sp. z o.o.
Fabryka Broni had to navigate a long and challenging process to offer another product in the American market. Most importantly, adapting the firearm’s design to meet U.S. requirements was essential.
