Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom MSBS-7,62N: First Pictures

We had to wait for almost a half of year, but finally we can unveil the exclusive photos of the Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom MSBS-7,62N DMR rifles in .308 Win.

The long-awaited .308 variant of Polish latest MSBS assault rifle (recently adopted as GROT C16 FB-M1, here in sport S16 version). Currently there are two variants of the MSBS DMR rifle in .308. First is  rifle with sand Cerakoted upper and 20 inch barrel and fixed adjustable stock. Second variant features OD Green Cerakote upper and standard, side folded polymer stock

Both new rifles are part of MSBS family and some of the parts, such as stocks, handguard or triggers are interchangeable between 5.56 and 7.62 models.

Both new rifles look astonishing. We haven’t got a chance to shoot them yet, but we hope that soon we will have an opportunity to play with them a bit. The main difference, except the rifle caliber is the heavy weight barrel, some “enlarged” details and the increase of overall weight when fully kitted out with bipod, optics, etc. The .308 rifle alone is just a bit heavier than .223. In case of .308 Win round, some more weight is a good thing – rifle will be more stable and more controllable during firing.

The pictured configurations are not the final ones, these are just samples. Polish Armed Forces are interested in purchasing the designated marksman rifles in the future and the MSBS-7,62N can be considered as one of the proposals.

The MSBS-7,62N should be officially unveiled during the  MSPO 2018.
