BROLIS Dismounted Soldier Optics and thermal sights contract for Belgium

BROLIS has been selected by Belgian Defense as the winning supplier in a competitive procurement for advanced optical systems for the dismounted soldier.

The contract covers the delivery of thermal clip-on sights and low-power variable optics (LPVO) equipped with miniature red dot sights (MRDS). The total contract value is multimillion euros, with quantities undisclosed. Deliveries are scheduled to take place during 2026–2027.

BROLIS DATS3 thermal sight was awarded the contract after winning the competition with the best price-quality ratio. The contract was awarded to the most economically advantageous offer following a thorough evaluation process.

The Belgian Armed Forces have been operating BROLIS laser aiming devices since 2023, and this new award further expands the long-term cooperation between the two organizations.

Since 2014, BROLIS has been supplying advanced electro-optical solutions for dismounted soldiers, serving armed forces and security organizations in 38 countries worldwide. The company’s systems are currently in service with multiple NATO armies, supporting modern infantry operations across diverse operational environments. BROLIS has recently substantially expanded its production capacity to facilitate the growing demand in the European market.
This latest contract reinforces BROLIS’ position as a trusted supplier of mission-critical optics and electro-optical systems for NATO and allied forces.
